Ive used Cool Edit pro to make songs and successfully loaded the song onto my phone with P2KMan. I can even play the song on my phone the only problem is that i cant set it as a ringtone. By the way i have a RAZR V3 if that helps. Any help will be appreciated.

the files rebuild when you restart your phone. are you still not able to access your ringtones?

did u try using p2k tools to set all your ringers to silent? if that dosent work u are going to need to use motokit to fix you ring details.

Having the lock symbol or not doesn't predicate using the file as a ringtone.

the lock symbol just indicates that the sound file is a stock or protected system file...which of course can be deleted via p2k, just not the phone.
