I am having router troubles. I like to have all of my computers in my house connected so I can share music and movies between all computers. I have it all working now but it is not set up correctly and I am having trouble knowing why it won't work when set up correctly. When I plug in the ethernet from the wireless router to the wired router and use the WAN port, and then hook the computers to the ports labeled 1-4, I can't seem to find any of the computers on my network. When I plug in the ethernet from the wireless router to the wired router and use one of the 1-4 ports it works. This is fine except I am using up one of the ports that could be used for another computer. Can someone maybe let me know why the computers can't "see" each other when the routers are linked using the WAN ports. The internet works fine with this method just can't network the computers. Here is a sketch of my setup.

I already know that and how I have it set up now everything works fine. It's just when I plug the "Internet in" cable into the WAN port it won't work. So basicly I'm sacrificing one of my out ports and don't want to do that.

On the wireless router there is a port on the back that just says internet. On the front display there is a led light that says WLAN

On the wired routers there is just WAN and then ports numbered 1-4

I tried to log into the wired routers and disable the DPCH but that diddnt work either. There must be some setting in the setup that I am missing

Not quite sure what your asking. The wireless router is a few years old and the wired routers are new

disconnect the data & power cables to the modem & routers. count to 20 then reconnect the power & data cables in that order to the modem & routers in sequence so #2 router gets reconnected last.
