Help with Roxio 6 Platinum

    Could someone please tell me if it's possible to back up my original dvd movies using this software, and if so, how? I've tried but all my dvd's are copy protected and therefore it won't copy it! Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

    D'oh !!

    You'll need to play [to unlock first] then use either DVD Decrypter [free] or SmartRipper [also free] ... to rip & unencrypt your DVD's

    Then because most are more than 4.36GB even after extracting extras & not needed subs , you'll need to compress.

    Compression software is varied but I'd suggest DVD2One or DVD Shrink [Shrink can also rip/unencrypt but is still a bit of a buggy software altho there is a new Beta version out...yet to be tested by myself]

    Also the most favoured burning progs are Nero Burning Rom or RecordNow DX

    The best help i could give u with Roxio software would be throw it away ;-)

    All they are is expensive frisbies or coasters. lol. Try Record Now Deluxe. Sorry i cant be more helpful!
