hi, im new at this, and i know a little bit about computers, i have a problem with avi files, when i play them the audio is delayed, it doesnt match the video, how can i fix this problem?
Hi francisko, First of all, I need to know are you watching AVI files with your pc or are you trying to convert it to dvd format and watch it on your dvd player? If you are watching it on pc, try install AC3 filter. Download from this link: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/codecs_and_filters/ac3filter.cfm and install this programme. Try to do a re-boot and play it again. It shouldnt have any problem after that. Happy watching...
i already have the ac3 filter installed, i am watchin a movie i downloaded on my computer, but still have the problem
The audio of the video file might not be AC3 if it is an AVI file. Download the program below and run it to find out what codecs the AVI file uses for video and audio and make sure you have those codecs installed on your computer... http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/gspot.cfm If these are downloaded AVI files it could possibly be a bad AVI file that somone uploaded with audio out of sync. Nothing you can do to fix it except try to sync the audio up yourself and that can be tricky.
