hiya ive just purchased a laptop and i want to move some very big files from my pc to my laptop. i have a crossover cable but i just dont no wot to do! can anyone please help?
I haven't done this type of thing really but I have setup home networks with file sharing before. Usually I just plug everything in and run the network setup wizard. Then setup file sharing. From there you just set the files you want to copy to share and then go to your laptop and copy from the network place to a place on your harddrive.
