Okay, so I was checking out the chip for my Xbox, cause a friend is thinking about modding his, and after I put the system back together the Xbox turns on, the DIP switch is RED, and the system turns on, then off, then back on, and back off. It does this 3 times, then shuts off completely. Does anyone know what's wrong? The little scroll wheel that is on the chip, What is that? Cause i knocked it, and I think I moved it out of place, so Just want to know if that is the problem. My Xbox is a v. 1.6 runs on XBMC Dashboard The EvoX Bios Screen Hope this helps
make sure all the wires are back together because your getting a frag error.. the little wheel is for the the X3LCD it just changed the contrast of the LCD nothing major...a wire probably came loose..
Hey thanks for telling me what that stupid wheel was on the chip. I thought I was screwed or something, for messing with it. I realized that one of the pins on the solderless adapter came off, and when I tried to put it back in the hole, I snapped the whole darn thing off. I used some hot glue, and it is back up and working. **Thank you for Hot Glue**
