Hi, download Slayer's EvoX 2.6 Final, you can get it on irc. server is irc.ultrapresence.net, channel is #slayers. Burn it, boot it, set your ftp settings from the dash on the boot disc via the Xbox controller, this will allow you to regain FTP for a time (until you reboot again) when you have ftp access from the disc, replace the files that you deleted back on your Xbox. Eject Slayer's, reboot. Of course, this is if your softmod was not contained on your F partition, if it was, then it's gone for good and you won't be able to boot unsigned code, period. when i start up my xbox all i see is turn off, reboot, format f drive and ms dashboard (which i cant use), so when i run the cd, how am i supposed to use it?
Well, if you only have your Xbox and a router, no, you can't, you need to have a cat5 ethernet (cross-over/straight-through) cable. If you have that you don't even need to use the router in between, just plug the cable from your Xbox to your PC's ethernet nic, and configure the ethernet nic on your PC to that of your Xbox's dashboard settings, i.e If Xbox IP is 192.168.1.1 then your PC ethernet nic's IP would be 192.168.1.2 or vice-versa. ok, here's what happens when i start up my xbox, evox starts up and it shows ms dash, reboot, turn off, and format f, and i'm pretty sure it won't auto run cds, so pretty much all i can do is ftp from my comp to my xbox? i hope i can fix this... o_o
Well Slayer's will boot automatically, as it is a boot disc, so it is created in such a way that boot from dvd rom takes priority. You "can" burn it to a cdr, but not all Xbox's can read cdr, if it doesn't boot for you on a cdr, I suggest you burn it to a cdrw, or lastly a dvd-r. Regards Cold|Fusion
i'll burn the cd and try that, but if that doesn't work then i'll try and get a crossover ethernet cable
