Hey. Thanks for having me! I have this problem. I have AntiVir Personal Ed. working in the background and it's picking up on some malware or something that it won't let go. The computer keeps making a beep when it tries to move on but it keeps getting hung up on the same file. It says: I'll click on all of the radio buttons it has including delete and ignore but it'll still kick it back but sometimes it'll be in ...\tmp4 Here's my hijack log: I've run registry mechanic, I've cleaned up the C: drive using the automatic thing in Windows and I'm running Spybot S&D as we speak. If possible, can I get instructions on how to fix this in plain english?
Download and Run ComboFix *Download this file from either of the two below listed places : http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe http://www.techsupportforum.com/sectools/sUBs/ComboFix.exe *Then double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts. *When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log in your next reply Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall
