high def divx

    there seems to be a flood of high def downloads available out there at the moment and i was just wondering about a few things.

    what HD software is the best for recording from a HD source, secondly is it now possible to back up a DVD and upscale at the same time to divx at 720p.

    Any app capable of capturing the MPEG-2 TS should be fine and yes you can upsize if you really want. Only advantage is that you get to choose the resize filter used vs. using the player/TV's.

    The downloads are probably XviD, not DivX.
