Ok, a problem occurred when i fixed those selected items. First off though i wasn't sure how to fix C:\WINDOWS\System32\nvsvc32.exe C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunesHelper.exe because they weren't shown in the hijack log. The problem that occurred was when i fixed the other selected files my internet would not connect, even though the connection was fine. I restored the fixed files with the backup from HijackThis, and my internet was again working. So I'm not sure how I can get around this problem. Thx P.S. I still have not run your other instructions as I'm waiting to deal with the Hijack Log first.

Hi giygas! Please download FixWareout from one of these sites: http://downloads.subratam.org/Fixwareout.exe http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/files/lonny/Fixwareout.exe Save it to your desktop and run it. Click Next, then Install, then make sure "Run fixit" is checked and click Finish. The fix will begin; follow the prompts. You will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so. Your system may take longer than usual to load; this is normal. At the end of the fix, you may need to restart your computer again. Remove bad HijackThis entries * Run HijackThis * Click on the Scan button * Put a check beside all of the items listed below (if present): R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {D3DEE18F-DB64-4BEB-9FF1-E1F0A5033E4A} - (no file) O2 - BHO: (no name) - {B1758603-0A96-6C70-A17A-B3281C3929F5} - (no file) O8 - Extra context menu item: &Search - http://bar.mywebsearch.com/menusearch.ht...CA_ZCxdm340YYCA O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{65EBEC2D-4ADA-4844-AF41-AA9DDDE7D69A}: NameServer = 85.255.115.6,85.255.112.151 * Close all open windows and browsers/email, etc... * Click on the "Fix Checked" button * When completed, close the application. Now lets check some settings on your system. (2000/XP) Only In the windows control panel.
