I have burned from an iso file Hiren's boot cd, but cannot boot from it. I do not see any boot files on the disc. How is this disc used to boot from?

Usually you set the bios to boot from the cd first...be careful with this one..the one I have is corrupted and has a nasty boot sector/mbr attacking virus on it..(I sometimes give copies of it to people who really **** me off..lol)

Have a look for a disk called "Techie's Toolkit" instead..much better with better utilities.

If you know a bit of linux the Damnsmalllinux live cd will boot anything

    Get it from http://www.damnsmalllinux.org

Did you burn the Image to the CD or what did you do?
Also what software do you use?

Nero is a good program(If you have it)
But i would recommend Imgburn which is free

I used Nero to burn the iso file to cd. Does anybody have a list of files that should be on the disc?
