Can anyone help me with setting up this machine. I want to transfer vhs tapes to dvd's. I can't get the menu to come up on my tv screen to even start the process. It's a Hitachi DV-RF7U with a remote. Does anyone have one of these? Thanks-mj013
does this unit not have a users manual? if it does you might try reading it, also you might try going to the website for this unit!
rdnercer1-I've already done both of your suggestions. I've reread the manual and am quite irritated with the hitachi website. I've got it connected according to the manual. I've put new batteries in the remote, and the remote recognizes my TV. Thanks for any response. I still can't get the 'menu' to come up on my TV screen. mj013
