I looked it up on google, cuz i have that drive and it would barly read cd's and never ever burn dvd's or read dvd's. people thought it was firmware, or drivers... nope, i opened mine up. im not sure, the laser lens have either melted, or shatered extremly finly. the whole lens is a MASSIVE blur! well there you have it! thats why this drive will break on you! but... it looks like its jsut the lens... can i ... ... fix it...? where can i get some new lens for the dvd burner...? thanks!! arnt they ment to be made out of glass? this one was pure plastic! ok i got another problem. i need to find firmware version 1.0 or 1.1, not 1.5. can someone help me plz!! ^^
