Do we have any hockey fans out there? Hockey is my favorite sport and nothing else is even close.

The NHL and ESPN have parted ways so I have to get digital cable or a dish because my damn cable system doesn't carry Outdoor Life Network on regular cable ... I guess OLN will have at least a little decent programming now.

There seems to be a lot of long time players leaving the game .. I suppose that taking a forced year off taught them that there's more to life than hockey (as soon as I figure out what it is I'll let everyone know) or maybe they got too far out of shape .. hockey players are the best conditioned atheletes there are ..

     S o o o .. are you ready for some hockey ?

Well I am very happy hockey is back! Ofcourse I root for my home town of the Montreal Canadians! My favorite players are Saku Koivu (Team Captain), and Jose Theodore (Goalie)!

I loved hockey, until Norm Green stole the North Stars from Minnesota, in 1993 and took them to Dallas. I did watch the Wild quite a bit, when I could get them on tevlevision, here.

Now, I could care less if they ever played another pro hockey game. I won't be watching them. I can't imagine anyone paying to go to a game, after last year's non-season.

Watch college hockey. It, in most respects, is pure hockey. IMHO, it is the best. WCHA, CCHA, and ECHA. It doesn't get better than that.

Mark Messier retired today ... It's a sad day for all hockey fans

In my opinion, Mark was the best all around player to grace the ice since Gordie Howe.

I'd have to say i'll be cheering for the Boston Bruins (which will probably get me my fair share of ridicule)

I've been a Red Wings fan for over 50 years ... but I've learned, Daniel_G, mot to rip on fans of other teams ... 'Cuz it'll come back to bite you in the rear end

Hockey fans are the best fans of any sport
