HOME DVD-PLAYER QUESTION?

    I was just wondering i'm in the market of getting a DVD player for my living-room and i want something that will be able to play all formats? like DVD-R DVD-RW SVCD VCD ect. is there anything on the market that will surport something like this. Also i would like it to have Optic outputs so i can hook it up to my surround sound system. Thanks alot guys

    You couldnt beat the Pioneer DVD575a - i had a £650 DVD player and ive recently swapped it for this.

    ok my next question is i live in the US and it seems i can't find this model DVD player is the Pioneer DV-588a-S the same or is it alot different i been looking at the Pioneer DVD575a but there no where to be found in the US that is. What do you people think?

    Ok instead of looking for an specific model go www.videohelp.com and search for a player with the specs you want, it is a very reiliable source, it also includes comments from the users which can be helpfull too.
