Ok I just bought a x800xl ati graphics card and I cant get it to display my desktop through s-video to the tv. It came with one of those s-video adapters because the original connectors only support dvi. So my question is how do you get this to work ive hooked up my comp to my tv before so I know how to do the basics but for some reason this graphics card is being a pita so can someone help me out.
um....y would u want to hook it up though s-video....it is not very clear compare to vga or dvi. if u have hook it right it sould read it automatic....if it dont then u did something wrong
bienian, if you goto display properties, and click the advanced button: you should be able to select which display the card outputs to.
I got it to work you just have to unplug the monitor and reboot the computer then it will show up on the tv thanks for the help though.
