I just purchased the WinTV-PVR 150... and it is great... only problem is there is no s-video out. However i think i have an idea that might work and it is my last resort. My TV has an HDMI slot... so i was thinking would it work if i would buy a HDMI to DVI cable then buy a DVI to VGA adapter to hook it up to my pc via VGA to the HDMI.. does anybody know if this would or wouldnt work?

Most video cards have a TV Out that you can connect to your TV.....

There aren"t many analogue capture cards that have a TV Out on them ,capture cards are for recording the signal not outputting a signal so you are Better off useing the "TV-Out" on your Video card or get a VGA to TV adapter or better yet Just Burn your TV shows to DVD and watch them on your DVD player....

    Cheers

No that wouldn't work because HDCP is not supported on current pc vid cards and does not look to be anytime soon. The best thing to do for now is find a vid card that will give you component out to supply signal to your tv monitor.
