Hi i would like to shut down my hotmail account because i cannot remember the password...i want to do this so i can create another account with the same name and new password...any sugestions on how to do this.....thanks
just do a password recovery. by the way, closing and then re-opening the account will not stop spam attacks or anything else you might be trying to avoid, in case this was an ulterior motive. you should either have an alternate email the password can be sent to or an answer to a secret question.
