hi pretty new to this,how do i convert vcd files that i can wtch on nero showtime to puttin them on a dvd,so can wtch on dvd player. i converted them from bin files with ultra iso but cant seem to convert them to dvd.please help.
VCDs should be burnt to CD disc to play on your Stand Alone DVD Player. That is if your DVD player is VCD/SVCD compatible. Allot of players are. So check your owners manual to see if VCD/SVCD are compatible. If they are then you can burn them to CD and play them on your DVD player. In order to convert them to DVD compliant files to be burnt to DVD disc you will need to get an extracting program to extract the video file from the VCD image file. Ultra ISO should be able to extract the files from the images (BIN/ISO etc. etc.) The video file you will need to extract is in the MPEGAV folder and it should have an extension of .DAT with a name similar to AVSEQnn.DAT but not necessarily that exact file name. Once you extract that video file from the image file you can then run the video file with a converting program to make them into DVD compliant files. (Use a program like Nero Vision or ConvertXTODvd)
