for example this file http://www.metu.edu.tr/~144410/v001.wav audio format =ima adpcm sample rate 11.250 mono do you have any advice?
the link u sent is down. are u encoding from a the cd or from a wav file already on your computer. use Exact Audio Copy and u will get the best sounding mp3's.
That format is native to windows so you should be able to use any WAV to Mp3 converter. I recommend [bold]dBpowerAMP (dMC)[/bold]. Link: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/
new adress for link. http://cc.domaindlx.com/ofsahin/enson/sample.wav bit rate=44kbps sample size=4bit channel=mono sample rate=11.025Hz format=ima adpcm this file was recorded by msi mp3 player. i recorded lessons and i tried to convert to mp3 or wma which is better for human voice i don't know, and quality is worse than i expect. moreover whenever i tried to convert with lame it crashed. thnx for your advices.
If your only going to be using the recorded sound clips on a PC and your only recording voices then I would go with the [bold]WMA v9.1 Voice[/bold] codec.
