how can i compress an ISO image

    hi i just want to know how can i compress an ISO image well any image file in fact i know of magic ISO power ISO which states they can do it but when i try to make a backup off my PC games it only shrinks it by about 0.01 gig i have seen a CD which holds 2.50gig it's just an ordinary CD-r but my m8 cant remember how he done it or wot program he used i have a copy of half life the Orange box which i backed up from my original the thing is its to big to fit on a dual layer DVD and i was wondering how i could compress that to fit on to a dual layer or if I'm lucky a single layer as i have loads of them spare any help on the matter would be kool

    compress with 7-zip on max compression it'll take a long while. also make sure u ramp up the compression quality in poweriso if u use it for compression

    will that just put the file in a zip file or will it still be an iso sorry m8 i dont know alot about compressing image files
