How can I make a DVD with only the .VOB files available

You probabley wonder why I havn't got the other files eg. VIDEO_TS.IFO
etc. The answer is I do but DVD Shrink won't recognise them.
Ultimately I want to use DVD shrink to perform some simple editing.
(Not bothered about menus) Therefore I need to somehow create a DVD structure that Shrink can open.

I have tried nero but it wants to transcode the VOB files which will take hours and I don't think it's very stable.

Is there any software around (preferably Free) that will do what I want?

Have AnyDVD or DVD43 installed, then try Shrink again?

If you only have the vob. file you can burn it with Super DVD Creator 8.5 it's a very good program I use to use Xilisoft DVD Ripper to rip the dvd then use Super DVD Creator to burn them.

is it possible to burn a dvd video w/ only the .vob files?
Normaly this program that I use gives me ALL of the files.. ifo etc..
but it only gave me the vob files this time.. the program is divxtodvd

this is the process that I took, that has worked three times before

The movie started out as a bin file, so I used ISOBUSTER to extract the mpg files out of the bin.. there were 2 mpg files so I used TMPGEnc to MERGE the to mpg files to one.
Then I used DIVXTODVD to put them in DVD form.. but it only gave me the VOB files for some reason.
The burner that I use is NERO burning rom, so, should I try it? I don't want to waste a dvd+r if it isn't going to work.
    thanx

    Dear tre2004,
Nero works quite well with mpegs and/or vobs. Try use Nero Vision Express to burn them to harddisk first, check the results, then burn to dvd.
    Good luck!

I think VOBEdit can demux your VOBs and then you can use an authoring program, such as TMPG DVD author, to create your own personalized and customized movie...
