my copies sound noticbly worse than the originals I'm coping using the disk copy option with nero for my music. If i bougt different media would that help? does burning speed effect sound quality. will a copy never sound as good?

You may have problem with you media, you should try to buy some other blank discs, and see if that helps.

Also: burning speed should be quite low.

are you sure you're doing an exact 1:1 copy with Nero? don't burn on the fly; copy the cd to your computer and then burn the .iso image to disc.
