don't know what computer you have, but my new HP goes like this........XP Home Edition 1.Start Button 2.Go To My Computer 3.Pick DvDR Drive 4.Right Click on That Drive 5.Highlight Properties 6.Left Click 7.Click On Hardware Tab At Top 8.Select DvDWriter From List 9.Highlight It 10.Click Properties 11.Click DvD Region Tab At top 12.Insert A Blank DVD In Your Burner 13.Highlight Your Area 14.click ok 15.that should be it. 16. your computer will only allow you to change this about 4 times i think, so don't play to much. hope we could help.
