First get A-Ray to find out what copy protection is used. http://www.aray-software.com/ Then you can use Alcohol 120 or BlindWrite to back it up. The trial versions are the full versions. A120% http://www.afterdawn.com/software/cdr_software/cdr_tools/alcohol120.cfm BlindWrite http://www.afterdawn.com/software/cdr_software/cdr_applications/blindwrite_suite.cfm Then you can mount the image with Daemon Tools: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/cdr_software/cdr_tools/daemon_tools.cfm
i downloaded GTA 2, andi didn't have to install it, i just unzipped it and clicked on gta2.exe, and it played
then why are you asking? You've already got the game, no need to rip it. And if it plays, there ya go.
And every game I've "bought", I've had to install it first. I've never download a game ... actually don't play too many games.
when i first downloaded it, it played 3 - 4 times, then now it says i'm missing those files. but in the GTA2 folder i have the dmaglide.dll file. but i don't have the glide2x.dll.
How does all this have to do with your title of this thread? "How can I rip a computer game"? That isn't even you problem or question.
because i have the original GTA2 game disc but i want to know how to rip it so that i don't need to install it, like the downloaded verion that i have.
