How can I uninstall IE7????

    I accidentally clicked 'ok' to the automatic update and I HATE IE7!!! I want to go back to 6, but I don't want to mess up my computer. If I uninstall it through the control panel add/remove programs area, will IE6 be back automatically? Also, if I do that, will I lose my favorite places?

    To backup favorites: Assuming you are using WinXP, Navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\UserName and copy Favorites
    To remove IE7: Start->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs->Windows Internet Explorer 7

    Try setting your computer back to an earlier time.
    See if it works.....

    I tried it on my other computer--guess what--no more MIE7
    I like 6
