Hi I'm trying to play passion of the christ for my mom, who's korean, but for some reason the lettering isn't coming out. I have all the .smi files (korean subs) but they don't show up in wmp. i even downloaded gom player (a korean media player) and they still don't show up. is there some type of codec or a multilingual player that these subtitles will show up in? I hope someone can help. thanks in advance!
1. make sure you have the K-Lite codec pack installed (great stuff) 2. use Media Player Classic (should be default player) 3. it may open 1 or 2 programs automatically to display subs/etc, so check down on the taskbar for these; right click to display a ton of options including sub/audio settings this confused me at first also, because MPC makes it look like the option isn't there. try to click that other simultaneous prog in the tray (it should be there if you have these codecs). hope this helps!
