How do i add music from a CD to an MP3 player

    hi, this is a friends MP3 playere, he wants some cd's added and im not sure how to doit, i know how to do it with an ipod but not an mp3 player, what do i do
    im using windows xp media centre.

    i dl the cd ripper and used it for the 5 songs (trial) however i was
    unable to copy the ripped mp3's to the mp3 player... gave me an error
    what settings do i need to change?

    The free program exact audio copy will do this. Just make sure to look up the specs on the mp3 player to see what bitrate ect. it supports.
