How do i back up my drive ?

    I have Just brought a New sony DRU 810A DVD writter and when i burn disc's at the rate of 16x it took nealy an hour. so i am planning to update my driver. but first i wanna do a back up of my driver first before i do anything incase i do something wrong. but i dont how or what to do ?? or can some fix my problem ? cheers

    If you are talking about backing up the firmware for the drive, it should ask you if you want to back it up, before it installs the new firmware update. There are no drivers to install.
