Or maybe I could zip it, but will it compress it enough to cut it down to 700mb? Wut is the best compress that compresses files the most?
Ok, you dont usually get 740mb avi files but what you can do is perhaps try cut the credits?? This would be done using virtualdub. First click video - direct stream copy, click audio - direct stream copy and then use the last 2 buttons in the button list on VirtualDUB to make a selection of the video without the credits and then click file - save avi! Hopefully it would knock off some of the filesize. It will probably be still over 700mb but you can try to overburn it too with nero. Click file - preferences and click the expert features (settings in some versions) and enable overburn and set the limit to 90 minutes or something!! Then when you try to burn the file as data it will ask do you wish to overburn, so do try, it may/may not work!!
i can get about 800 meg on a cd with nero very safely at about 805 it craps out and creates and error but as nero says do this at your own risk as the brand of your burner has a lot to do with this and it can be broken tommays
Well you wont fit 800mb divx on a 700mb cd-r, thats just vcd/svcd! 800mb cd-rs are needed for what u want to do or 99min cd-rs!
