How do I burn a dvd to a cd?

    Hi im wondering how do I burn a dvd to a cd. Im not talking about a movie just a episode like family guy or the simpsons and watch it on my dvd player. Can you do that? Because I dont have a dvd burner only a cd burner.

    ok I have download a family guy episode and its an avi I tried burning it with 1 Click DVD to VCD and when I put it in my dvd player and nothing happened. am I doing something wrong?

    I know you can save still pictures to a DVD but I'm not sure that you can do that with a show or movie. I think you need a DVD player and a DVD.
