    Hi,

This is my first post. I've been burning CDs for years, but the DVD format is new to me. I'm using Bero 6.6.0.16. I just d/l'd a show via Bit Torrent. What do I need to do to burn it to DVD? Do I need any additional software? I've seen people mention DVD-Shrink, but I don't know if I need it, or any other software for that matter. What I have from the download is a VIDEO_TS directory, with several .vob, .bup, .ifo files.

Do I need to do anything with these files, or do I just drag the entire folder as-is into Nero & burn it?

Sorry for the extreme newbie-ness here.. :)

    Thanks in advance!!

    Steve

If the movie does not contain copy-protection, then Nero Recode will do:

Run Nero Recode, click 'copy entire dvd to dvd', then 'import dvd', then go to and highlight the Video_TS folder, and follow from there.

    Happy DVD burning!

Assuming that you want to burn to a DVD Disk, not a CD Disk...

If the VIDEO_TS Folder is already in the proper format, and within the size range of a single sided DVD disk, there is no need to use Nero Recode. Just burn it directly to disk with the standard Nero "Burn a DVD" program. It works exactly like the CD burning program, but you select the entire VIDEO_TS Folder rather than individual files.

If the Folder Size is larger than a Single Sided DVD Disk (4.35 Gb), then you will need to use Nero Recode to compress the files so they will fit.

Both programs are fairly idiot proof.
