I have scoured everywhere on the net and I can't quite figure this out. I got this mpeg and I tried burning it with nero with no luck. I set up nero for SVCD without standard compliance and the finished cd cant play on anything. The attributes of the file:

    File fotmat: MPEG-2, Field B
    File size: 809,156 KB
    Duration: 1939.840 seconds
    # Video #
    Total Frames: 48496
    Quality: 24 bits, 1024x576
    Frame rate: 25 fps
Data rate: VBR (average 3416kbps/max 5000)
    # Audio #
    Total Samples: 93112320
Quality: 48000 Hz, 16 bit, Stereo
    Layer: 2
    Bitrate: 224kbps

    can someone help?

It is so out of Specs

I would be surprized if anything other than an apex standalond player would play it...,if that

try frameserving or saving to decompressed avi with all the correct specs fps, resolution, etc(ntsc or pal, depending on your needs), then taking that stream and re-encoding.

or maybe someone else might have a better suggestion????

Yeah, I guess I will go ahead and try that. I was trying to stay away from re-encoding because dammit.. the quality is just immaculate.

if you save it to an uncompressed avi file then use dvd2svcd with cce 2.5 to convert the uncompressed avi to svcd 5 or 6 pass you shouldn't notice much if any quality change
