How do I convert vob files to avi

    I'm new at this so be patient. I have a DVD video camera and so I downloaded my home video's to my computer. Now I have a bunch of VOB files that I can't edit because I am using Pinnace 9. I've read some threads and I guess converting these VOB files to AVI is the best way to go. How do I do that? And is there anything I'm missing here?
