    My library offers a MAJOR amount of videos to download for free. However, My Sandisk Sansa Fuze Won't support the WMV files, which MOST of the movie/video downloads are.

    I have the following programs:
    a. Sansa Media Converter
    b. Windows Media Player version 11.0
    c. Windows Media Player DRM version 2.9.0.1
    d. Overdrive Media Console (Library suggests to download this program in conjunction with Windows Media Player and use this program to transfer downloaded audio books, videos, music to MP3 device.

    I have installed - per the advice of Sansa Corporation - K-lite 4.5 codec and Combined Community Codec pak. I have tried using the codecs with Sansa's Media Converter...Still Doesn't Work! Sansa has Not come up with a solution yet. Either has my Library.

    So, two questions..

    1. how do i convert WMV files to play on my Sansa Fuze which supports WMA and MP3 files.

    2. how do I burn my DVD movies and then transfer/convert file to play on my sansa fuze?

    Thanking Anybody in advance. I Really Need Help...

    I also downloaded the following program DOES NOT WORK...
    "AVSVideoConverter.exe" from: http://www.avs4you.com/AVS-Video-converter.aspx

    I also Contacted...http://www.movavi.com/contact.html#. for support on their download, don't think it will work though because looks like most formats are for Ipods.

    (Sansa Media Converter) uses the term "convert" meaning to actually Transfer the file (video or audio, etc) ONTO sansa device.

    What I am trying to do is Convert or Change over a WVA video file onto a video file that Sansa Fuze supports.

    My library (http://www.suffolkwave.org/16B6FCC8-3B43-4E8B-BCFC-AE60354E6EBB/10/380/en/Default.htm) has tons of videos and audiobooks plus music for free. I have no problems with audio books transfering over to Sansa.

    I have tried to find AND have downloaded many programs such as:

    * http://www.downloadvideos-convert.com/
    * http://files.uberdownloads.com/software/converters/convert.php?f=Audio Files&t=Other Formats
    * http://www.free-codecs.com/
    * http://www.avs4you.com/downloads.aspx?prod=36
    * http://mediaconverter.org/index.php?s=c&show=downloads

    plus MANY more...

    I have contacted so many different forums too.

    Nobody seems to help.

    Sansa Tech, forget about it........they are NO help at all!

    Have you downloaded the Sansa converter (FREE) at www.sansa.com. It works great for me. I have loaded 1 HR plus, no problem. If you call Sansa Tech Support they will walk you through the process.
    Good Luck
    This is one great player

    The last 2 mp3 players I bought were Sansa no problems yet. I think they may be making the best flash players for any money. The View is a sweet little device. No wonder they are gaining market share.
