how do I create .avi using nero or roxio

    I have both Nero 7 Ultra and Roxio 9, I want to know how to output to avi. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

    What are you trying to output to AVI, a DVD compilation(like a DVD that you ripped onto your hard drive), or just some other videos?
    If you are trying to convert a DVD to AVI, is possible with Nero using Nero Vision, but is not the best way. There are many free applications that can do that, like AutoGK, AlltoAvi, FaiUse Wizard...

    Thank you Cyprusom, I tried both apps but doesn't seem to be user friendly. I wanted to try nero vision 5 but did not see this avi
