ok so i bought a headset with atached microphone......i cant connect it to mobo sound cuz bios wil either let me disbale on board sound or set it to auto......so i have to unplung my speakers from my creative labs soundcard to connect my headset....i dont mind doin that but wat get me is when i talk its playin back my voice in the headset.........how do i turn that off? thanx who ever replies
does your speakers have a jack on 1 of them to allow using headphnes thru them instead of thru onboard connector
can you try them on another computer with built in sound not pci card to see if does same thing. what is the chipset & do you have the latest drivers. can you try another mic??
there is a built in sound meter program is windows. it controls all the volume, there should be a mic. mute it
aight ddp i tried my headset on my laptop and it works perfectly, dunno wat u mean wat chipset, and i do have the latest drivers for my creative labs sound card...........darksanta i know bout the meter thingy but i dont need to mute the mic it needs to stay on but how do i disable it from playin back my voice
are you running both onboard sound & a pci soundcard & if so why. disable the onboard sound thru the bios as probably why you are getting feedback from the mic to the headphones
no multimedia is not present........this is gettin annoying its like the creatives lab sound card has total control over every single sound option...i know obviosly its a soundcard this is ridiculous
