Yeah, go to http://www.se7ensins.com/index.php?showtopic=2892 Download the that program, it's called Sigma Halo Editor. It comes with all the update plugins for Dothalo and many other halo modding tools. It also has a few more features than some other compiled "All-In-One" programs. I think you will like it
ok, if i download it, what exactly is it? cuz i dont own halo yet and im abou 2. ok, so is it some kind of a modin dashboard or something? and to install a dashboard do i need a modchip? will the moded dashboard have any chances to wreck my xbox or get a virus to it or somethin? and i wanted to ask if theres a dashboard that wont require 007 game or something or mech assault for the linux, i mean is there any good dashboard that wont make any probs wit the xbox, install by itself, and wont require me to get a dvd-r cd to install it? and my final q, do i gotta get acd's [audio compact disx] to burn music on 'em and rip it into the xbox, and can the music be mp3, or wma? thanx a bunch, i hope u wont be mad if i used ur thread for this, but it seems like u got some experience in moding an xbox.
Ok...you definitely dont know what you are talkin about man. First off, to get a modified dash on your xbox, you first need to have your xbox modified by either A) Using Splinter Cell, Mechassault, or 007 to softmod your xbox w/ action replay or B) Buy a modchip. If you need tutorials and the files for those games, you can find them in the softmodding section at se7ensins.com. After you get those game saves, you can follow the tutorials in the softmodding section as well. After you xbox is softmodded, you can use a thing called AID 2.11 (Auto-Installer Deluxe), which is what I've used. After you get your xbox modified, thats when you can start modding halo 2 with that program that I posted above. Does this help?

Hell yeah, i dunno if it was for me, but it did. But i still dont get whats the point of modding ur xbox. what privileges do u get exept for not being able to use live?!?
? You do not even need to install a softmod in order put the halo2 maps onto your xbox... You can just run the softmod, and ftp while the softmod is running...
You can still get on live w/ a softmod... Also, the priviledges to having a softmod are awesome, you can put emulators on your Xbox so you can play the classics like SMB or Contra or Mike Tyson's Punch Out! You can have a media player on your Xbox, you can back your games up, you can modify games...the list goes on man.
Can u back-up games, have a media player, and other stuff by only installing a softmod witout modchip and stuff i mean, just the software on a cd [wat kind of cd is it supposed to be] and to do it witout any games or memory cards???? Which mod will be dat and i want it to work 100% wit no viruses. Thanx if u know tdat let me no.
