hello, i recorded some tv shows with my lg dvd-recorder but now i have reached the last hour left on the dvd my dvd-recorder will not allow me to finalise the disc . i have already thrown away about 50 discs because my previous dvd recorder could not finalise them. i have heard there is a way to do this on my computer but i have no idea as to how or what programmes to use. please will somone help ,
Do you mean you can select the option in the recorder menu but it refuses to carry out the command - or it says that it has finalized it but it hasn't (the symptoms being that it cannot be played on the PC or another player)
it can still play on the dvdrecorder/player but i cant use the menu to play different parts of the dvd and cant play it on any other dvd player ,i cannot finalse the dvd either .
