A friend gave me this xbox because he couldn't play on xbox live. I just added xbmc and a bunch of programs to it. He told me he got it hard modded but idk with what ? It can play iso games and launch movies without loading dash I look at the motherboard and don't see anything special xbox v1.6 Unknown cpu Factory HDD and DVD-ROM Im guessing there is a modchip since it can play iso games. Any Ideas ?
Just because it can play game backups doesn't mean its Hard moded. Ask him if hes sure he didn't softmod it. I would think if he hard modded it, he would know what modchip he bought...
Yea I probably don't have one but im getting an xecuter x3 so whatever the pins for the mod chip on the board are untouched so i don't have one.
