How do I get a DVD (non-encoded) into iMovie?

    I have a home-made dvd that plays in my dvd player. I want to re-edit it in iMovie. I want to apply filters, titles, etc.

    How do I read the dvd format into iMovie?

    Never heard of iMovie, but you need to extract the mpg from the .vob's.
    ReJig, and IFOEdit may do what you want.
