How do I get DVD+R DL to play on a home DVD player?

    I currently use DVD Decrypter to rip movies. I have Verbatim DVD+R Dual Layer Discs and use Nero 7 Ultra Edition.
    However when I burn the files I've ripped to a disc I cannot play the movie.
    How do I burn these files so that they play on a regular home DVD player that is +R compatible?
    Please keep in mind I am not an expert but a bit better then a newbie :).
    Any help is appreciated.

    I guess my choice of words is bad....
    I am looking for the movie to play as it should....rented is the wrong word...sorry.
    It is not my intent to steal the movie, I was just trying to describe how I wanted the DVD +R Dual Layer to play.

    That link was a little helpful, but I am using Nero 7.10 Ultra Edition. I can't find anything in the options to change the booktype settings. Can anyone offer any help???
    I am using DVD DL +R discs.

    You can set the booktype in Nero. In Tools load CD-DVD Speed and under Extras select "Bitsetting"
