Hello everyone, You'd think it would be simple enough but not for me I guess. I have a JVC DV5000 (car deck) which plays, cd's, dvd's, mp3's, etc. It also allows me to have the files in folders. ie: Hip hop folder, Alternative folder, Bob Marley Folder, etc. I know I could use Nero to burn an MP3 disc but it won't allow me to seperate by folder and it's just not right listening to... let's say Sum 41 then the next song is Jammin w/ Bob Marley. Do I just burn the disc as a Data disc and seperate the folders that way? Or is there a reason why it must burn as an MP3 Disc?
anyone? I tried burning as a data file with music in different folders as muntioned above but the player wouldn't recognize it and spit the disc out.
put your mp3's into folders on your computer prior to adding them to the nero program and nero will burn it that way. it does have to be mp3 not data.
Thanks for replying. You mentioned it does need to be burnt in MP3 format...however my Nero Express doesn't recognized my DVD burner. I also have Nero Express 2 which DOES recognize the dvd burner but doesn't give the option to burn music discs, only movies. Any other programs (Pref. free) that will burn MP3 music on a DVD disc?
i've never found one. you must have an older version of nero. nero 7 has a specific option for making mp3 dvd's. actually roxio media creator 8 is really nice. it creates menus, displays pictures for each song if you want, but it costs. just google free mp3 dvd software.
