Need help on making a DVD video out of VOB files? I see nowhere to do it. I use Nero, but Nero doesn't seem to work right all the time and some of the video I make on nero always skips. I also need help on putting AVI files to amke a data disc, but again I see nowhere to it says make data disc? Thanks for your help
You can"t do this with Alcohol 120%..... If your VOB files are in a "Video_TS Folder" with the Correct IFO and BUP files then you can simply Burn the "Video_TS" Folder to DVD useing "Nero" in "DVD Video" mode.... If all you have is VOB files but don"t have the IFO or BUP Files then you Have to use a Proper DVD Authoring Program so you can create New IFO/BUP files and to Properly Format everything into a New Video_TS folder which you can Burn to DVD.... You can also Burn AVI Files as Data DVD"s useing Nero, It is Very Simple...You just select DVD-Rom or Data DVD in Nero and then Add your Files to the Compilation and then burn the Disk (At a Low speed if you want a Reliable Burn).... Skipping Playback of DVD"s in your DVD Player is allmost Allways Because you Burned your DVD at too High of a Speed.... You should allways Burn your Video DVD"s at the Lowest speed Possible this is because Movie DVD"s have No error correction Data so when your DVD Player Hits an error it has no Error correction Data to tell it how to handle the Error which usually Causes Jumpy Playback, or Freezeing Playback or Pixelated Playback.....
