I have a few mpeg video/sound clips which I want to put on a cd as a VCD. When i just burn the files onto a cd and put the CD in my VCD player it doesn't work. I looked in a real VCD and it has folders like

    VCD
    Segment
    Cdda
    Mpegav

and so forth. How do I make my Mpeg files work on my DVD Player?
    Plz Help.

Don't use cheap media and use Nero Burning Rom to burn or something like that!

i lot of dvd players wont play VCD or SVCD no real reason before you go crazy i would go to your local super store and test drive your disk
on as many units as possable RCA seams to have a very hard time playing VCD and many of the tv sets with built in players will not eather they seam to put in and older dvd drive most new players that say they will play seam to do so i tested about 12 at best buy

Actually in this case he was using Windows XP to burn the cd so basically, windows xp doesnt burn vcd so nero burning rom should fix the problem if the player supports vcd/svcd!
