How do i Make Large AVI files fit onto DVD-4 using Nero?

    im trying to burn an AVI movie with Nero, and it usually wokrs no problem but in this case it says the file is too big to fit after conversion on a normal DVD 4.7gig. are there any programs to recode the movie to a smaller size without losing alot of the quality.

    will TMPGEnc Plus help?

    You might want to try DvD Shrink, you can reauthor files to create DvDs to make it fit.

    Use VSO software's DivxtoDVD.

    Keep Nero though because if you don't have CopytoDvD, Nero will be your burning software after using DivXtoDvD.
