Hello I just bought a seagate 7200 ata 160gb but i have a problem with it it only shows 127 gb in my harddisk what can i do to maximize the harddisk to 160 or where can i see it being utilized as 160gb. thanks!

I did and found this: Please Note: In order to properly access the full capacity of an ATA interface hard drive or partition larger than 137GB and properly support 48-bit logical block addressing, Windows XP Service Pack 1 or Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 are required. You must not be using winXP, because it has built in support for large drives with SP1. Like Cami said, with Win2k you need either SP4, or there are certain patches you can DL from Microsoft's website.
