how do i play movie files that are ogm and ssa

    ok i got some movie fils that are ending with .ogm and .ssa how do i play them cause my divx and windows media play wont play the

    Not sure exactly what kind of file types those are. But here is what I would do.

    Search for an ".ogm player" or a ".ssa player" and see what turns up.
    Alternately, I would search for ".ogm codec" or ".ssa codec" for the WMP.

    If the codecs are available for the WMP, installing them would enable playback on the WMP. I did that for .ogg Vorbis audio files. It was a simple install on the codecs, works great; it just added the file types to my pull downs.

    ogm is a container format and ssa is a subtitle format. So neither require codecs. I would suggest Media Player Classic. It has a built in ogm splitter, vorbis decoder and subtitle renderer.
