pimpmex, Make sure no other programs containing the folder you're deleting is running. Also, it could be that the card is locked. On SD cards there's a tiny switch you can move on the side of the card. Make sure that’s not set on “lock”. If all else, try to recover your files using Smart Recovery and then re-format the card.
