I am trying to get a film I downloaded on to dvd but the file is too big for the dvd. What can I use to shrink the size of the file?

I have looked into a dvd shrinker but this doesnt help as the file is already on my hard drive!

    Thanks in advance

DVDshrink can be used with video files already on your hard drive. In what format are the files you downloaded in? Shrink will recognize ISO image files or DVD video files (ie.. .ifo, .bup, .vob).

thurs this avi recomp which lets you choose what size you want for your AVI. it uses xvid... its slow tho...

then burn it to dvd as data or dvd then...

or use vco. its cool too and sumwhat faster.
